Our Edmonton and Calgary cohorts are thoroughly preparing for their pitch at the end of this month! Edmonton's Pitch Competition will be on April 21, while Calgary's Pitch Competition will be on April 28. Scholars are preparing to win the $10,000 scholarship! They've nailed their first presentation run-through and we're excited to do their second presentation run-through this weekend.

Meet Qwynton. He's on Team Canderel Group. In grade 10, he's a soccer athlete whose hoping to use his skills to secure a scholarship for post-secondary education. He's hoping to learn more about what to look for when looking at properties for investment. We're wishing Qwynton good luck as he prepares for the Pitch Competition with his team! 
Industry Mentor: Jace Jonsson for Team Oxford Properties Group
Jace Jonsson is an experienced senior leasing manager overseeing a portfolio of 1.5 million square feet of primarily office assets on behalf of Oxford Properties Group in the Calgary market. He has a proven track record of more than 370 successfully negotiated lease transactions totalling more than 2 million square feet in one of the most turbulent markets and asset classes.
Jace has experienced being both a broker and a landlord, having worked on 57 different assets ranging from new mixed-use developments to heritage retail and traditional office towers. He is involved with NAIOP Calgaryand is a member of the chapter’s Developing Leaders committee. Jace is a licensed real estate associate.
